Tuesday Jan 24, 2023
Tuesday Jan 24, 2023
Why it was selected for "CBNation Architects": One of the most impactful things I heard over, and over and over again was the importance of the morning routine and while it seems obvious it is often overlooked. When starting something new and thinking of planning and preparation, don't forget about the morning routine. For Avery one of the things he spoke about was how important it was to "make your bed" and how you get to celebrate your day with wins. It was great to hear how Joey and Avery got started by just reaching out and DM. But also the power of podcasting as a medium towards hearing people's journeys but also having a platform to change lives.

Why it was selected for "CBNation Architects": One of the most impactful things I heard over, and over and over again was the importance of the morning routine and while it seems obvious it is often overlooked. When starting something new and thinking of planning and preparation, don't forget about the morning routine. The most successful people are "relentless" in their morning routines and systems. Michelle go her start early at the age of 8 and it was intriguing to hear as she journey through your career how she was being a sponge and learning things that were seeds for her own firm. One of the most valuable things she mentioned is that she didn't just "jump"--she planned and prepared with intentionality prior to her launch date. Also, how important it is to not lose or sacrifice your journey along the journey.

When starting something new and thinking of planning and preparation, don't forget about the morning routine. Heather touched on how impactful it was for her to "make that mental shift to being a morning person" and one of Heather's values is all about freedom and how she ran a $500M portfolio but made a shift in her career. She's a trailblazing and inspiring person but also this episode was a great reminder of how you can be the change you hope to see.

Why it was selected for "CBNation Architects": One of the reasons I started the podcast was to have people that had contributed before on the blog to be featured on the podcast. Very similar to what Jordan did with his book and followed the idea that "success leaves clues," we are working on too. Also, Jordan had an ambitious goal of being on 90 podcasts in 90 days and our podcast was a part of that.
